Snapdragon™ 8 Gen 3 Mobile Hardware Development Kit (HDK 8650)

The Qualcomm® Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Hardware Development Kit (HDK8650) provides an open-frame solution for technology companies to integrate and innovate devices based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile HDK is a feature-rich Android development platform that is suited for Android application developers, consumer manufacturers, hardware component vendors, camera vendors, and flash chip vendors to evaluate, optimize, test, and deploy applications that can utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform technology.

The package content includes the main board with APQ8650 processor, 12V DC power adaptor and a USB cable. The main board contains the following:

• Snapdragon 8650 (SM8650P) main application processor
• Memory: UFS 4.0 + LPDDR5 up to 4200 MHz
• Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth® 5.3

User guide, schematics and other support collateral is available to customers after purchase of the HDK through Lantronix’s Technical Portal. A buildable BSP is not provided with the kit.

Known issue: USB mouse is not working in headless mode, recommend using display card as work around.
